The Board wishes to welcome two new board members! Hope Breen and Carol McNelly were elected to serve three year terms at the annual meeting on September 17, 2025.
Hope Breen is a former scholarship winner and graduated with a Travel and Tourism degree from Monroe Community College. In 2017 she started the vlog #ROCthecitywithHope, for “helping locals become tourists, and creating Rochester, NY enthusiasts.” You can hear her each day on the Bee Morning Coffee Club at 92.5 WBEE. Hope has published a Rochester Photography Guidebook that includes 13 categories and 90 destinations. In 2025, Hope was nominated for a Woman of Excellence Award by the Rochester Business Journal.
Carol McNelly first applied her degree from Nazareth College in Modern Foreign Language and Business as an international marketing specialist for Taylor Instrument. She eventually retired as Senior Vice-President of MicroMod Automation. After retiring from her business career, Carol established a private local tour company that provides tours in the Finger Lakes and Rochester Region. Her volunteer work includes Scouts, Elks, and the R-H Music Parents Association. She also created the website for the Antoinette Brown Blackwell Society.
